Who the heck is Christian Knudsen?

Christian has been a professional and prominent magician in Germany for more than three decades. He has worked at company events, trade shows and exclusive private parties, in restaurants and cabaret theaters, on cruise ships or, with his full evening show, in chamber magic situations.

He was a house magician in the restaurant of the five-star Hotel Steigenberger in Hamburg for nine years and has traveled to more than 50 countries as a solo magician on board of luxury liners. The premiere of his literary full evening magic show took place on the stage of the Kaisersaal of the MS Deutschland in 2006 and forms the main subject of his German-language book "The Secret of Happiness".

In his youth, Christian won numerous prizes at the German Youth Championships in Magic and came first in the card magic category at the international Prix Juventa Magica in Berlin. Later he was a juror himself in magic competitions such as the German magic championships.

In 2001, "Heartblood", Christian's German-language debut bestseller, which sold out in record time, was released. In the following years, the accompanying DVD trilogy and the completely revised version "Heartblood - Edition 2010" followed. "Heartblood" is now in its third edition.

Christian is the author of countless publications in all major German-language magazines and book collections. For some time he headed the editorial team of the biggest German magic magazine "Magie". In 2017 the Magic Circle of Germany named him "Writer of the Year".

During his seven lecture tours and at various conventions, Christian has held more than 300 seminars and workshops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Christian has published an audio book on the topic of Restaurant Magic, three books on card magic and numerous card effects. His products "Photographic Memory" and "Angel", which he created in cooperation with Card-Shark, were also internationally successful.

Since 2017, Christian and his wife Sabine have been running the German "Heartblood Magic" online shop, which exclusivly sells his own magic creations. In 2021 they launched this English-language part of the shop for the international magic community worldwide.
